Meet our Team

The people behind Walk ’n’ Talk Collective are what keep this organisation moving. Our staff and support workers show up with reliability, skill, and genuine care for the men we support. We value the work they do and the impact they make across the region.

We’re more than a team.
We’re part of the community.

Walk ‘n’ Talk Collective was founded by people who’ve lived the struggles, walked the hard roads, and decided to do something about it. We’re local. We’re real. And we’re here because we care.

Jordan Meehan

As one of the founding voices behind Walk ‘n’ Talk, he’s helped grow the movement from backyard chats to region-wide impact. He’s passionate about building connection and showing people that speaking up is a strength, not a weakness.

Our Team

The people behind Walk ’n’ Talk Collective are what keep this organisation moving. Our staff and support workers show up with reliability, skill, and genuine care for the men we support. We value the work they do and the impact they make across the region.

We’re building a team that leaders with heart - and walks with purpose.

At Walk ‘n’ Talk Collective we know real change doesn’t come from systems. It comes from people. People who show up, listen without judgement, and walk alongside others through some of life’s hardest moments.

That’s why we’re growing a workforce grounded in lived experience, community values, and trauma-informed practice. Our approach isn’t clinical or corporate - it’s real, relational, and responsive to the unique needs of men and young people across Central Queensland.

If you’re someone who believes in the power of connection, who knows that change begins with showing up, and who wants to be part of something bigger than a paycheck , you’re in the right place.

Whether you're a qualified support worker, a peer mentor, or someone with a lived story and a willingness to learn, we’re building a team for the long haul - and we’d love to meet you.
